For the benefit of future debaters on the fluoride question, it can be reported that the Great Physician Upstairs saw to it that the natural fluoride content of Holy Land waters was adequate. Water supplies in the cities of Israel have a fluoride content that varies from 0.3 to 9.0 parts per million; in Jerusalem the content is 0.5 ppm. The reported incidence of dental caries in Israel and other countries of the middle east is quite low.
